Today’s Racing Is On A Track Rated Good 3 and the Crowd Should Enjoy the Spring Sunshine

Here are today’s scratching and the early movements in price with the TAB Bookmakers.

No scratching in race 1 and Sai Fah is a short-priced favourite at $1.80.

In race 2 scratch Go Go Goal and the favouritism is between the three runners of Huna Hank, Red Cayenne and Tavirose at the $3 to $3.50 price this morning.

In Race 3 the scratchings Starman, Maison Roxanne, A Proper Lady and Queen Of Diamonds. The local Rae runner Our Prom King must be expected to run a better race with his price shortening from $41 to $31. 

Also, the Richard Collett trained Massachusetts has come in from $18 to $13 and his runner in race 4 Tiger Silk has dropped from $14 to $10. With Andrew Calder riding those two he may the rider to have a look at for the jockey of the day bet for the meeting.

Race 4 scratchings are Iwantchoux, Yulong Lanson, Enduring Love and Viola Vega.

In race 5 the scratchings are Never Back Down, Sco Mo Eagle, Missmaising, Massachusetts, Tiger Silk, Enduring Love and Mongolian Spirit. Open Below Zero is holding favourite spot at $3.50.

In race 6 the scratchings are Lucetta, Slice’N’Dice and Single Moment with the local Rae Racing stables runner Casual Winks favourite at $3.30 after her fast finishing second at Ruakaka last start.

The scratching for race 7 is Not Usual Heart with the Chris Gibbs/Michelle Bradley runner Toy Kingdom a short-priced favourite of $2.80 after being scratched at the barrier last start.

In race 8 the scratchings are Conquering Kelly, Quizmaster and The Chosen One with the biggest price mover so far being Rodolfo from the Team Rogerson stable that has been backed from $27 to $16 I the early market. Socialights and Chapeau are battling out for favouritism at $.20 and $5 respectively.
