Local racing enthusiast Matt Mathais will be doing the betting for the Punters' Club and the Summer Selections will be the basis of the punting. The Punters' Club costs $5 to join and the pooled money is then bet in various amounts across race 3 to 7. The more successful the bets the bigger they can get by the later races. After race 7 the remaining money is divided by the number of tickets, and a dividend declared. Simply take the ticket to the betting windows to collect the dividend.

Look for the sellers by the main gate and in the shade of the grandstand.

The Summer Selections will be named on sheets around the course and there is a great prize to win if you have a $5 bet on a summer selection at any of the Interislander Summer Festival Meetings, complete the entry form and place it in the entry box placed near the betting windows. The prize is a trip to Brisbane with three nights double accommodation at the Gold Coast. Prize drawn after all the Interislander Summer Festival meetings on March 1 2019.
