$100,000 Pick 6 Adds Interest to ITM/GIB Whangarei Gold Cup meeting this Saturday, 13th July.

Weather forecast is for only 3mm of rain between now and start of racing; very competitive racing particularly the last four races and a turbo terminating pick 6 across the last three races of both Ruakaka and Trentham.

Mac Attacka in the last race at Ruakaka seems to be the only "standout" bet to be included in your Pick 6. See the table below for full details about the bet option and a table of selections for your consideration.

If you want to do your own preview of the races follow this link for both the Ruakaka and Trentham RACEBOOKS or go the TAB website for the PDF form guides. Link - https://loveracing.nz/RaceInfo/27321/Meeting-News-Article.aspx

Racing on Saturday kicks off at 12.27 and closes with the United Security Northland 1600 metres at 4.39pm.

The Mid-Winter Christmas lunch has been sold out so we are looking for a great atmosphere in the Beachside Bar and ITM/GIB will be entertaining 100 guests int he Bonecrusher and Surfbreak Lounges.

Enjoying the Mid-Winter Christmas function will be two very supportive sponsors of the club in United Security Northland and Northland Business Systems.

Also Shane Reynolds of Hirepool Whangarei who helps the Club with the supply of the generator for the LED Media Solutions big screen will also be entertaining guests on the day.

For those wishing to catch the free raceday bus from Whangarei the bus picks up at these locations.

Kamo Club - 10.40; Kamo Hotel 10.45; Kensington Tavern 10.55; Rose St Bus Terminal 11.05; Judge House of Ale 11.10.

 What Is A Pick6?

Pick6 challenges you to pick the winners of six races. If your picks win all six races then you win your share of the Pick6 dividend. Today’s Turbo Pick6 operates across six races – the last 3 races from both Trentham and Ruakaka starting at 3.05 and finishing at 4.39. They have been chosen because they are timed to start very close together.

 What does terminating mean?

It must be won! If the Pick6 is won by only one 10% ticket, then that ticket will receive the full pool! If the Pick6 isn’t struck by All 6, then tickets with Any 5 will be the winner/s. If there are no Any 5 winners, then Any 4 will claim the prize and so on. Do not throw away your ticket if you don’t pick the winner of the early races; keep it until all legs are run.
