Ruakaka is in Northland - 90 minutes north of Auckland and 20 minutes south of Whangarei.

From south turn right off SH1 on to Marsden Point Rd. Drive about 7km before turning right on to Peter Snell Rd (at the Ruakaka Town Centre). The race course is at the very end of Peter Snell Rd.
